Illume images is a husband and wife photography company based out of Vancouver, British Columbia and is run by Gulnaz and Amby Rai who bound together through this beautiful medium we call photography.

What sets illume images apart is that it is a couple who has experienced it all - marriage, expansive travel, and children. It is these experiences and knowledge that makes illume images the experts for your session. Being the social butterflies they are, Amby and Gulnaz bring a lightness and candour to your sessions and events that brings ease, fun, comfort and familiarity all while crafting beautiful images.

Furthermore, what sets lllume images apart is the desire to go further in every way. Both Amby and Gulnaz are always looking for new and unique concepts, locations, lighting ideas, and editing techniques - allowing their skills to be ever-evolving and pushing the envelope in every way. All the editing we do happens in house (quite literally) and we treat each raw image as an individual work of art with its own unique mood. We go the extra mile to ensure each image has a presence.

Both Amby and Gulnaz are lovers of great style. Amby has a knack for great menswear and Gulnaz lives for curating a look. It is this love that allows us to lend our expertise and suggestions to all the couples and families we get to work with.

Moreover, both Gulnaz and Amby love to try new cuisines and explore. They have travelled expansively all across Europe and around the world and it is through their travels that they have become inspired by architecture and aesthetic. The simplest crack in a building or crevice in a street can tell a story and both Gulnaz and Amby have an eye for the simplest of details that leave a profound impact in your pictures.
